Applicants may apply for a bursary for travel or training:
- to attend and present their original work at a conference or scientific meeting that relates directly to the applicant’s research in vestibular conditions
- to attend training which is of relevance to the applicant’s work and patients with vestibular conditions.

Who is eligible to apply?
Early career researchers, within eight years of completing their PhD or equivalent research experience, or healthcare professionals based at a UK University or NHS institution are eligible to apply,
How much can I apply for?
Awards of this type do not normally exceed £1000.
When can I apply?
The trustees meet in March, June, September & December. Applications should be submitted by the first day of the month preceding a trustee meeting (e.g. for the March trustee meeting, applications should be received by the charity by 1 February).
How to apply
Please complete the bursary application form, providing the following details:
- the purpose of the funding requested (e.g. what is the training and/or where travelling to)
- the amount of funding requested
- other sources of funding secured or sought and decision date, if known
- breakdown of costs
- date(s) required
- your hospital/university department, or other organisation, if applicable
- how the funding will benefit you/your organisation
- how the training/event relates to vestibular disorders
- how this will benefit people with a vestibular condition.

When will I be notified of the outcome of my application?
- For travel/training grants, applicants will be notified the outcome/progress of their application by the end of the month of the trustee meeting (e.g. if submitted for a March meeting, you will be notified by the end of March).
- Should there be any delays to the application progress or, in the unlikely event a travel/training bursary application needs to go to peer review, the applicant(s) will be notified.
